Care Instructions

Washing

  • Wash embroidered articles using mild laundering agents whenever possible.
  • For heavier-duty washing, use detergents without chlorine, peroxide or other bleaching agents that may affect embroidery colors.
  • When hand washing, use ample water to allow the embroidered item to move freely and rinse thoroughly.
  • Rinse embroidery thoroughly before wringing or spin drying.
  • Do not leave freshly washed embroidered garments in a damp pile.

Dry Cleaning & Stain Removal

  • Embroidery made with Gunold POLY 40 FIRE can be dry cleaned.
  • Use stain removers that do not contain bleaching agents or color-removing chemicals directly on the embroidery.
  • Rinse the embroidered area thoroughly after stain removal.

Ironing

  • Iron embroidered items from the reverse side or place a protective cloth between the iron and the embroidery.

Drying

  • Tumble dry on a low setting.
