AcuFeed Flex Layered Fabric Feeding System
Janome's AcuFeed Flex fabric feeding system provides controlled feeding from above and below the fabric. It is particularly useful for quilting, precision piecing, topstitching, hemming and projects involving multiple layers of fabric.
The AcuFeed Flex system can be detached when it is not required, allowing the machine to adapt to different sewing techniques and applications.
Professional HP Foot & Needle Plate
The Professional HP Foot is a narrow-gauge, industrial-inspired foot designed for improved visibility and control when sewing curves, narrow seams and precise topstitching. The HP foot is designed to be used with the corresponding HP needle plate.
The MC9400QCP also includes three needle plates: the standard zig-zag plate, straight-stitch plate and professional HP needle plate. The plates feature useful guideline markings to assist with accurate seams, angles and cornering.
One-Step Needle Plate Conversion
Changing the needle plate is quick and convenient. The One-Step Needle Plate Conversion system allows the included plates to be changed without screws or additional tools. Simply release the plate using the conversion mechanism and install the desired needle plate.
Full-Colour LCD Touchscreen
The 4.4" × 2.5" full-colour LCD touchscreen provides an easy-to-read interface for stitch selection and machine settings. The display provides information such as selected stitch, recommended presser foot and other sewing guidance.
On-screen sewing applications and stitch information help make the machine easier to operate while working on different sewing and quilting techniques.
Superior Needle Threader
The Superior Needle Threader makes threading the needle quick and convenient. Simply position the thread and operate the threader to guide the thread through the needle eye.

Choose from 350 built-in stitches for utility, decorative, quilting and creative sewing applications. The machine also includes 4 alphabet styles for monogramming, quilt labels and personalised sewing projects.
