Schmetz ELx705 Overlock Needle – Regular Point for Overlock & Coverlock Machines
Schmetz ELx705 Regular Point Needles are specially designed for compatible household overlock, serger and coverlock sewing machines that require the ELx705 needle system. Their specialized construction supports reliable stitch formation at the higher sewing speeds commonly used by overlock machines.
The ELx705 needle features a flat shank for easy installation and a second thread groove that helps support the formation of chain and overlock stitches with reduced thread tension.
Important: This is the ELx705 Regular Point needle. For knitted and stretch fabrics such as jersey or sweatshirt fabric, Schmetz recommends the ELx705 SUK Ball Point version where appropriate.
