Cut & Seal (Micro Seam)

PFAFF 8311-005/001 performs ultrasonic welding and cutting simultaneously using a single steel sonotrode wheel. This creates an ultra-flat micro seam with exceptional strength and wearer comfort while allowing effortless welding around tight curves and small radii. The resulting seam can also be taped using compatible PFAFF taping machines.

Cut & Seal Dual System

PFAFF 8311-105/001 incorporates the innovative Cut & Seal Dual system using two independently adjustable anvil wheels operating on separate shafts. One wheel performs cutting and sealing while the second creates the additional weld seam, providing greater process reliability and material control.

The motor-driven cutting wheel can be activated or deactivated directly from the touchscreen control panel, allowing maximum flexibility for different production requirements.
