Driven by a 220–240V AC motor (8,200 RPM at 0.7 amps) paired with a cogged timing belt system, the machine operates smoothly using a fully grounded, variable-speed electronic foot control with a standard European 2-pin plug.

Patented Posi-Pin® Clutching System

Sailrite's patented Posi-Pin® Clutching System (#7438009) delivers 100% direct power transfer from the balance wheel to the needle bar. By eliminating traditional clutch slippage, it preserves maximum force when penetrating thick or tough fabrics. Disengaging the pin instantly stops needle movement for quick bobbin winding and added operator safety.

Simple, Straightforward Sewing

The mechanical walking presser foot works in sync with the feed dogs to pull thick, multi-layered fabrics through evenly at consistent speeds. Switching directions is quick with the spring-loaded lever, while the EZ Set Stitch Length Plate preserves your exact stitch settings up to 6mm. Additionally, the presser foot features an integrated welting tunnel for piping, and an offset needle position that allows you to stitch zippers seamlessly without swapping feet.
