Silverstar ES-94AII Setup Instructions
Follow these recommended steps when setting up the gravity feed steam iron:
- Fill the water tank to approximately three-quarters full with distilled water.
- Hang the water tank at a minimum height of approximately 1.8 metres.
- Connect the silicone water hose securely between the water tank and the iron.
- Connect the iron to the appropriate power supply and switch it ON.
- Set the thermostat to approximately number 4 or higher, according to the fabric and pressing requirement.
- Allow approximately 3 minutes for the iron to heat up.
- Once the iron is sufficiently hot, open the water tank valve located at the bottom of the tank.
- Bring the iron down close to the floor, approximately 10–20 cm above floor level.
- Activate the water solenoid valve by pressing the steam/water switch on the iron.
- Keep the iron near floor level until water flows through and fills the water hose completely.
- If the iron becomes insufficiently hot, stop the water flow and allow the iron to heat up again.
- Reactivate the water valve once the iron has reached the required operating temperature.
Important: Always follow the manufacturer's operating and safety instructions. Use the appropriate temperature setting for the fabric being pressed and avoid excessive steam or heat on heat-sensitive materials.
